Biography
Yi WANG is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Tokyo. He obtained the B.A. degree and Ph.D. degree, in 2011 and 2016 respectively, from Renmin University of China in chemistry. From 2016 to 2018, he was working as a postdoctoral research fellow at National University of Singapore. In 2019, he joined Prof. Keisuke Goda's group at the University of Tokyo and became a Research Assistant Professor therein.
Research Interests
1. Laser spectroscopy & optoelectronic transient technology
a) fs transient absorption spectroscopy, ns flash photolysis, time-resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy
b) transient photovoltage/photocurrent, time-resolved charge extraction
2. The mechanism of photoelectric conversion in photovoltaic device
a) the mechanism of energy transfer and charge transport
b) energy distribution and chemical control of trap states
c) fabrication of high-efficiency solar cell devices
3. Nonlinear optical properties and exciton dynamics of colloidal nanocrystals
a) development of colloidal nanocrystals as optical gain media
b) multiexciton dynamics in nanocrystals
c) unique biochemcial application of quantum dots-based electronic device
